Commissioning Project Manager- Data Centers

DataX Connect are partnered with a growing Commissioning company who are dedicated to making an impactful difference to the data center/ mission critical sector.

Due to outstanding growth and further investments to the business, they are looking to hire an experienced of Commissioning Project Manager to take lead on multiple data center projects across Northern Virginia, The Carolinas and Georgia.

The Position

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex commissioning projects across various sectors, working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record, possess strong leadership skills, and excel at problem-solving and decision-making.

This opportunity is a remote position and will require approximately 30-50% travel to job sites in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated fluency in all commissioning processes and deliverables covered in ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED commissioning requirements.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment/systems inspections, testing, and associated commissioning activities.
• Monitor, review, and execute all facets of Commissioning related projects, providing exceptional technical expertise and field activities throughout the design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Work directly with General Contractors, trades, inspectors, AHJs, and others involved with the QA/QC program execution for large critical facility construction and commissioning.
• Perform thorough Commissioning Design Drawing & Specification Reviews, as well as Submittal (shop drawing) reviews.

Qualifications and previous experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience
• 4+ years leading data center commissioning projects
• Project Management Certification is preferred but not required
• Certification in Building Commissioning is not required but preferred
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety is not required but preferred
