Hybrid: 3 Office 2 Remote

The Director of Product Data Management will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the enhancement of item data for e-commerce utilization and ERP integration. The role involves managing the acquisition, rationalization, and enrichment of product data across the compliance, quality, and product management spectrums. This position will lead a dedicated team in developing robust processes to ensure the seamless and efficient flow of manufacturer data into our systems.

The candidate must have product data management experience with at least 1 million+ sku's

  • Lead and manage the Product Data Management team, providing direction and setting clear objectives aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and refine processes for product data acquisition, rationalization, and enrichment to improve e-commerce presentation and ERP effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT, marketing, quality, and compliance departments to ensure data consistency and adherence to industry standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge in product data management and e-commerce offerings.
  • Manage the data lifecycle, including data creation, updates, and retirement, in line with product lifecycle management.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of product data, including descriptive information, attributes, and associated ERP elements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at data quality enhancement and process efficiency.
  • Manage team of 7 direct reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a data management role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large datasets and understanding of ERP systems.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and online product presentation.
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Must have Large product data set experience (million+ sku's)
