Now Hiring: HR, Training, and Development Manager

📍 Location: Midtown East, NYC | On-site, Full-Time

🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM

💼 About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR, Training, and Development Manager to oversee all HR operations, team development initiatives, and employee relations across our group. You will work closely with the Director of Operations and department heads to build a best-in-class team experience—cultivating a positive work culture, supporting compliance, and creating clear pathways for growth and development.

This is a high-touch, hands-on role based out of the group’s corporate office in Midtown East, NYC, where you'll serve as a key resource for all things HR—from recruiting and onboarding to training and employee performance.

🔑 Responsibilities

  • Lead all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance
  • Partner with external recruiters and agencies to source top-tier candidates for management and leadership roles
  • Maintain updated hiring ads, executive employee files, HR charts, and records
  • Develop and implement training and development programs tailored to each department's needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters including ADA, FMLA, and PFL
  • Provide hands-on HR support to GMs and department leads across all locations
  • Conduct performance reviews, handle terminations, and resolve internal disputes in accordance with company policies
  • Continually review, enhance, and enforce HR policies in alignment with legal regulations and organizational goals
  • Foster an inclusive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture
  • Offer strategic input to the leadership team on workforce planning and organizational development

👤 About You

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Manager, General Manager, or similar leadership role in hospitality
  • Deep understanding of New York labor law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong ability to navigate both big-picture planning and day-to-day HR administration
  • Experience designing and delivering impactful training programs
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

💵 Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000, based on experience
