Job Description

Landscape Designer – Savannah, GA - 633343

Relocation assistance available for the right candidate

We are seeking a Landscape Designer to join our team in a production design role, focusing on commercial and municipal projects. This position is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience who is passionate about design and looking to grow professionally, with future opportunities for leadership.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the planning, design, and preparation of construction documents , including planting plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, studies, and permit applications. You’ll be hands-on with design production using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion , and the Adobe Creative Suite , contributing directly to the visual and functional quality of public and private spaces.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in landscape design (more experienced candidates welcome if focused on design, not management)
  • Licensure (PLA) is not required, but we’re looking for someone who is actively pursuing it
  • At least 1 year of office experience under a licensed Landscape Architect
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D is essential; experience with SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly valued
  • A motivated designer eager to grow and develop within the profession

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and creative team in Savannah, GA , with room to take on more responsibility over time. Our current designer is transitioning out in early May to pursue a law degree, and we’re looking to fill the role with someone excited to step in and make an impact.

At The Planet Group, we connect Engineering experts with opportunities that match their skills, goals, and ambition.
