Press Brake Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform complete press brake setups and takedowns for various production runs.
• Select, load, and adjust appropriate tooling based on job specifications.
• Accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Apply basic to intermediate mathematical skills for bend calculations, material layout, and measurements.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all formed parts through diligent inspection.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and timelines.

Press Brake Operator Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of bend allowance, tooling, and material behavior.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Familiarity with various measuring tools, including calipers, tape measures, and protractors.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
