Job Description

An emerging infrastructure investment platform is seeking a Principal to join its growing investment team. The firm specializes in sourcing, structuring, and managing equity investments across the energy transition, transportation, and digital infrastructure sectors . The Principal will play a key role in driving origination, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio management efforts. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven team focused on delivering long-term value through sustainable and impactful infrastructure investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead transaction workstreams across the deal lifecycle, from sourcing through execution and asset management.
  • Conduct market and sector analyses to identify attractive investment opportunities in energy transition, transportation, and digital infrastructure.
  • Build and review complex financial models to evaluate investment performance and risk.
  • Draft and present investment memos and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners, co-investors, lenders, advisors, and portfolio company management teams.
  • Support the development of junior team members through mentorship and project-based leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure investing, private equity, project finance, or investment banking.
  • Strong transaction experience in energy transition (e.g., renewables, storage, decarbonization technologies), transportation (e.g., mobility, freight, airports), or digital infrastructure (e.g., data centers, fiber, towers) .
  • Proven ability to lead deal processes and interface directly with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
