Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location: New York City, NYC, San Diego, CA (onsite 2-3 days)

New opening for a Machine Learning Engineer to lead a growing team within digital, gaming and streaming media. The team is creative with machine learning, predictive modeling, and deep learning. You will report to the Director of Data Science and Machine Learning.

Summary:

  • You will be part of a world-class ML/AI team, developing machine learning, Generative AI models, LLMs for product teams. Working cross-functionally to turn business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
  • Develop advanced AI/LLM data driven pipelines to fuel our analytics platform.
  • Build and scale our retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) system that delivers analytic insights and automation to our product teams.
  • Create and apply advanced machine learning and deep learning solutions to extract insights from diverse structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Analyze business use cases and identify areas where AI models may have predictive limitations or biases.
  • Design, train and optimize neural networks, within frameworks; TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning and generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI models, including tuning and prompt engineering for LLMs.
  • Expertise in applying machine learning models in a professional environment with large, complex datasets.
  • Expertise with Python, libraries pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch and PySpark for big data analysis.
  • Familiarity with multimodal AI models combining text, image, and video data.
  • Leading or managing a team is a huge plus.
  • Track record of leadership, continual learning and passion for delivering excellence.

Education:

  • Master’s in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or similar degree (PhD preferred but not required)

Target Total Compensation: $300,000 - $425,000, including a fixed annual salary of $200,000 - $255,000, employee equity grant, and full employee benefits.
