About the Opportunity:

This is a fantastic chance to become an integral part of our sterile compounding pharmacy, working directly with a team of skilled technicians and under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You'll play a crucial role in preparing high-quality sterile medications that make a real difference in patient care. We value accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

What You'll Do:

As a Sterile Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including:

  • Sterile Compounding: Preparing a wide range of sterile medications, including bulk solutions and parenteral products, following established procedures and under pharmacist supervision.
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately placing, packing, and labeling prescription medications, including reconstituting oral antibiotic liquids.
  • Inventory Management: Selecting, stocking, and organizing medications within the prescription department.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Entering patient and medication information into our pharmacy computer system with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Refill Authorization: Obtaining prescriber authorization for prescription refills when no changes are required.
  • Prepackaging: Assisting with the prepackaging and labeling of multi-dose and unit-dose medications.

What We're Looking For:

  • Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician (Required)
  • Experience Level:No sterile compounding experience? No problem! We are eager to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced, high-accuracy environment. Your training will begin on a day shift (M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) for approximately 6 months to ensure you gain a solid foundation.
