Job Description

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Test, Design and Evaluation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the government customer in the Falls Church, Virginia area.

Essential Job Duties

• Designs, assesses, develops, formulates and evaluates test plans for candidate technologies, integrated technologies, and capabilities.
• Analyzes alternatives, assesses objectives, proposes key objectives (e.g., demonstrating performance metrics).
• Evaluates performance, utility, and potential applications during testing.
• Assesses technology readiness levels (TRLs) demonstrated, verifies reported performance, evaluates actual demonstrated performance, and reprioritize efforts accordingly.
• Produces monthly Special Access Program (SAP) reports and monthly technical project test assessment reports.
• Conducts program demonstration and experimentation analysis of alternatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Active in Scope TS/SCI Clearance; eligible for Special Access Program read on; willing to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph if required.
• Master’s degree or higher in engineering or other technological discipline.
• 20+ years in an engineering or other related field.
• Expert in evaluating, designing evaluating test plans.
• Expert in testing candidate technologies and capabilities.
• Expert in alternative analysis.
• Expert in developing technology performance metrics to evaluate industry developments for consideration by the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.
• Expert in evaluating performance, utility and potential applications during testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Department of Defense or military experience desired; experience in capability development, technology transition, and acquisition a plus.

Work Environment

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
